Here are some, hopefully useful, things to note about the Cabin:
Finding the Cabin
You will receive an automated email before your due arrival date explaining how to find your way to the Cabin and access information. Please follow our instructions carefully as they may well be more reliable than your sat nav. You will have to walk across grass to get to the Cabin, so be aware of your footwear if it has been raining.
Check in/out
Check in is any time after 15.30 and we will message you if it is available sooner in case you want to arrive earlier.  Check out is by 11:00 please so we have time to prepare for the next guests.
Wifi - the name is 'Cabin' and the password is remaining.owns.requiring
Toilet - we have a septic tank and so nothing should be flushed other than toilet paper provided.  Wet wipes and other supposedly flushable items can't be used with septic tanks, unfortunately.  More toilet paper can be found in the central section of the vanity unit, accessed by opening one or both of the drawers.
Ventilation - the bedroom window must be opened, if only slightly, from time to time as otherwise a great deal of condensation builds up and causes damage to the window reveals and skirting.
Towels - there are two beach towels provided, and a bag to carry them in - please don't put them on the grass as getting the grass out is a nightmare.  If you need another bathroom towel, you can find spares in the right hand drawer of the vanity unit - please don't take them out of the Cabin. Please don't use the white towels to remove makeup, fake tan, etc - the stains never come out!  The black towels are best.
Camp fire - unless we are away at the time of a changeover, we try to set a fire for you to light if you wish to - you will find it in the fire circle and you will find matches in one of the kitchen cupboards. It is wise to consider wind direction before lighting the fire - if there has been a dry spell it's even more important so that the woodland grasses are not accidentally set alight by rogue embers.
Rubbish and recycling - if you can separate bottles, cans, paper, cardboard etc then please place them in the black bins just behind the low wall to the right of the bedroom window as you face the Cabin; or leave them in a separate bag if you prefer with your other rubbish and we will deal with it.
Fridge supplies - you will find butter, eggs, milk, oat milk and a bottle of wine with our compliments.
Heating - If you want to turn the heating off, select the bottom left hand button on the touch screen and an image of a house will appear - to turn back on press again and house image will disappear and a flame image will appear in its place if the set temperature is above the current temperature.
Dishwasher - please use the eco programme option and get it going as soon as you can before you leave as even this programme takes an age to complete.
Washing machine - It doesn't like light loads (gets unbalanced). The dryer function takes a while so you may find it better to use the clothes airer that is hidden under the sofa. Remember to check you haven't left anything in it when you leave!  We will wash everything else.
